I've been having a frustrating issue where none of my internet browsers—Microsoft Edge, Opera GX, and even Chrome—are working on my PC. They keep showing an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. I tried clearing my SSL state, making sure my date and time are correct, and even clearing cookies, but nothing seems to help. I'm beginning to suspect that my Norton security software might be causing the problem, yet I can't uninstall it because it tells me I'm not an administrator on my own PC. I really need help figuring this out! By the way, I managed to get the internet working briefly, but then it reverted back to the same issue when I tried to download the Norton uninstaller. Any advice?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a DNS issue. Have you checked if you have a custom DNS assigned in your network settings? That can sometimes cause connection issues if it's set incorrectly.
I’m not really sure what DNS even means, but I did see a suggestion about clearing the SSL state, which I did. Sadly, that didn't help at all.
