I'm having trouble with my audio setup on Windows 10. For the past few days, my computer seems to have switched my usual "Realtek Speakers" output to a "goXLR telecon output," and I'm not a fan of this change! I've got a program that lets me control audio with a scroll and middle click, but with this new setup, I can only scroll and can't mute or adjust volume like I used to. When I try to play music through the Realtek speakers, the volume bar moves, but there's no sound. However, if I select any goXLR output, the sound plays just fine. Nothing has changed on my end, no new updates or software installations—so I'm wondering, could an update have sneaked in and caused this? Thanks for any help!

You should check the Device Manager to see if there are any issues with your audio devices. Sometimes, drivers can act up after updates. Look for your audio devices under 'Sound, video and game controllers' and see if there's a yellow triangle or anything out of the ordinary. If you find something weird, you may need to reinstall the drivers or set your Realtek speakers as the default. It might fix the problem!
I tried Device Manager too, but I didn’t understand what steps to take. I saw a username post some images to guide the way; I look for something visual to help, though I couldn't find a perfect match.
You can find some great tutorials on YouTube that walk you through fixing audio issues with Realtek and similar setups. They really help clarify how to manage your sound devices!
