Why Can’t One User Access Their Outlook Email?

I've been struggling with an issue where a specific user in my company can't load their Outlook email account. This problem started last Thursday, and despite trying various browsers like Chrome and Edge – including private browsing – and even switching to a different computer, the situation hasn't improved. I've cleared cookies and the private Edge browser worked for a bit but then also failed. Each time the user logs in, they're met with timeout errors, white screens, or messages saying the request can't be completed. Interestingly, this problem appears to be isolated to their account, as other users are not experiencing any issues. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

I can relate! I'm experiencing the exact same issue. All the other M365 apps are accessible on the web, but Outlook just won't load. I checked Downdetector, and it's showing an uptick in reports. It might be worth considering that there could be a wider problem with Microsoft.

It sounds like a tricky situation! Is this an Outlook 365 account? You might want to check with whoever manages the email accounts at your workplace. It could be possible that the user's account or license has expired or fallen off somehow. Let us know if you find out more!

I handle the email accounts. Everything looks fine with their licenses, and we’re nowhere near expiration. They have an Outlook account through M365, so the license is active, and other apps are working just fine. Outlook is the only issue.
