I'm trying to understand why GoDaddy deleted my client's Microsoft 365 accounts even though they were still paying for them. My client had originally purchased GoDaddy's Microsoft 365 service for a small team but switched to Google Workspace for a new CRM that required Google email. After changing the MX records in June 2025, they found that by mid-August 2025, their Microsoft accounts were gone, and GoDaddy support couldn't provide a solid explanation. They stated that accounts can't have services in two places, yet my client was still paying for the GoDaddy service. It's confusing because the product still appeared in their GoDaddy account, but without access to the underlying Microsoft accounts. I'm concerned about potential data loss and would like to know how to handle Microsoft account management in these scenarios without losing access.

Honestly, you might never get a straight answer from GoDaddy. Their track record with Microsoft 365 has been pretty rough, and a lot of people have had nightmares with their managed services.
I totally agree! It's hard to trust GoDaddy as a managed service provider for anything Microsoft-related. It's like inviting trouble!
