I'm curious about why my company lets developers work fully from home, but designers don't seem to have that same option. Is there something I'm missing here? It just doesn't seem fair, and I'd love to hear some thoughts on this.

It's probably because management thinks that designers need to collaborate in person to spark creativity, while developers can code solo. But honestly, I think that's a bit outdated. Everyone has different work styles, right?
Honestly? It just sounds like they don’t have a good understanding of both roles. There’s no reason why designers can't work remotely just like developers!
Right? It's frustrating. Seems like a bias against design work.
You might want to just ask your employer directly. There could be reasons we don't know about, like leadership styles or negotiation tactics between departments.

I get that! I have my own office space and feel pretty creative working from home.
