Why does Firefox keep starting with a fresh tab set on Fedora KDE?

I'm using Fedora with KDE Plasma, and I've noticed that Firefox sometimes starts with a completely fresh set of tabs instead of restoring the ones I had open when I last used it. This inconsistency is really getting in the way of my research. Is there a solution to make sure my tabs are saved and restored every time?

If it opens fresh, try using Ctrl+Shift+T to recover the last closed tabs. You might have to do it several times, but it can help!

I tried that, but it didn’t work for me either. This issue is super annoying.

You can manually select your open tabs and bookmark them in a folder. It’s a good practice, especially for research; that way, you can keep track of everything you've read.

Don't forget, Ctrl+Shift+T is the shortcut to reopen closed tabs if you're in a tight spot!

I had the same problem but realized there’s a setting in Firefox that controls whether it restores tabs on startup. Check if that’s enabled—it might have been switched off by default!

That’s strange, I have that setting turned on, but I still encounter this issue once in a while.
