I've been getting a constant warning from Malwarebytes every time I start my computer. It's flagging riskware associated with a website I've never even heard of, and it ends with .xyz. Can anyone explain what could be causing this and how I might stop it?

First off, let’s double-check that the warning is legitimate and actually from Malwarebytes. If you can, share a screenshot of the popup. That way, we can help you figure out if it’s a real threat or just a false alert. Also, check your detection history to see if the site has been reported multiple times. Sometimes it could be tied to popups from other sites you visited, so keeping tabs on your browsing habits might help too!

I can’t take a screenshot of the popup, but I found it in my detection history. Still not sure what that website is all about.

Could it be just some popups from other websites you’ve visited? That might trigger Malwarebytes!
