Hey everyone! I'm having a weird issue with my microphone on Windows 11. For some reason, the sound volume just keeps dropping by itself, and it's really frustrating. After about an hour of talking with my friends, they say they can hardly hear me anymore. Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fix this?

Make sure to check if your BIOS settings are set correctly. Sometimes making changes here can cause unexpected audio issues. Also, if you're using any kind of voice chat software, disabling additional features might help reduce the drops.

I had a similar problem before. Try uninstalling your Realtek audio driver and then reinstalling it. This worked for me, and it might just solve your microphone dropping issue too!

First off, have you checked if there's any automatic gain control feature on your apps, like Discord? Sometimes it messes with mic sensitivity and causes issues like what you're describing. If you're using Discord, look for the 'Automatic Gain Control' setting and try turning it off to see if that helps!
