I built a new PC about two weeks ago, and it keeps freezing up on me. After updating the chipset drivers and BIOS, the screen freezes while I can still move the mouse and keyboard. I've updated all the drivers and checked for issues. I also tested the RAM and SSD (it's an older 240GB Intel one that's still in decent shape, according to CrystalDiskInfo). The freezing problem happens even when the PC is idle. Does anyone have suggestions for a fix?

First, I recommend checking the Event Viewer log or using the Reliability Monitor in your control panel. It's a good place to start troubleshooting issues like this. You might find some clues about what’s causing the freezes.
Have you tried pushing the buttons? Sometimes it’s just about resetting things.
