I've been having a frustrating issue with my PC for years. Sometimes, it boots up just fine, but other times it lags heavily, making everything slow and tedious. Here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6GB), running Windows 10 Home (22H2). I've kept all my drivers updated, and this issue predates Windows 11, so I doubt that's the cause. Any advice would be appreciated!

Good call on the SSD for your boot drive, that should help with speed. However, it’s also essential to check how powerful your PSU is—low wattage can lead to shutdowns under load. You might find this out by checking the label on the power supply unit inside your case.
Also, don't forget to back up your data before making any changes or troubleshooting! If you mess with BIOS settings or your disk configuration, you could risk losing important files.
It sounds like your system might be struggling due to either software issues or hardware limitations. Have you tried doing a fresh format and reinstall of Windows? Sometimes a clean slate can resolve lingering problems. Sounds drastic, but it might bring back that fresh feeling!
