I've been having an issue where Google prompts me to complete captchas while searching. This has happened a couple of times, once yesterday and again today. I'm using an iPhone 7 and don't have a VPN active, plus it's all happening on my home internet. I primarily use DuckDuckGo and have never encountered this problem there. The message I see says, 'Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests and not a robot.' Any insights on what's going on?

I face the same issue when I search on Google—I hardly use it anymore because of all the captchas. It gets really annoying!
It could be that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is using a technique called Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT). This means many customers share the same IPv4 address, so if someone else misbehaves on that network, you might end up having to solve captchas too!
Not directly related, but maybe consider upgrading from your iPhone 7? It might help with performance and connectivity issues!
Yeah, I get that, but I'm kind of broke right now!
You might want to try deleting all your Google cookies. Sometimes, old or corrupt cookies can cause issues with how your device interacts with Google.

How did you figure out that the ISP might be using CGNAT?
