I recently got an ASUS TUF A15 FA507NVR equipped with an RTX 4060 and 16GB DDR5 RAM. I also attempted updating the BIOS, but it won't go past version 303 and gives an error for the newer updates. Device Manager shows only the 4060 and not any integrated GPU, and my BIOS lacks a MUX or Advanced Optimus setting. I'm at a loss—could my single-channel RAM be the issue? Is it possible that my laptop is locked in hybrid mode even though the iGPU isn't showing? Should I consider returning it, adding another 16GB stick, or just deal with the performance?
