Why is my laptop shutting down even with a full battery?

I recently replaced the battery in my HP Pavilion 15 Gaming DK0056WM, and it worked great for about two months, giving me 3-4 hours of use. However, today, when I unplugged it from the charger, the laptop shut down immediately. Oddly enough, when I plugged it back in, it showed 100% charged. But unplugging it again causes it to shut down right away. What could be causing this issue? My laptop indicates a full charge with a capacity of 50,000 mWh, which is close to the design capacity of 52,000 mWh.

You might want to run a battery report using the command `powercfg /batteryreport` in the command prompt as an admin. Also, consider using the HP diagnostic battery tool to check the health of your battery. But if it keeps shutting down, it could mean the battery isn’t being utilized correctly. You might need to test with another battery if possible.

I already ran the battery report, and now I'm going to try the HP tool. As for replacing the battery, are you suggesting I should buy a new one? They can be pretty pricey here, and I just got this one, so that's not really an option for me!
