Why is my mouse lagging on secondary monitors while playing fullscreen borderless games?

I'm using an NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D on Windows 11, which is fully updated. Whenever I launch a game in fullscreen borderless mode, my mouse behaves very sluggishly on my other monitors. If I switch whatever I'm using to my main display, everything works fine. My main monitor is a 27GL850 with a refresh rate of 144Hz, while I have a BenQ GL2460 and an ASUS VP248, both at 60Hz. This issue didn't occur before a recent GPU driver update that fixed some other problems but seems to have introduced this lag. Should I try anything specific to resolve this, or should I just wait for a GPU driver update?

Are you using G-Sync? Sometimes enabling it can lead to choppy mouse movements on secondary screens. If you're seeing the lag, try turning off G-Sync to see if it improves performance on the other monitors.

I disabled G-Sync, and it did help with the lag, but now I’m dealing with screen tearing in games. It’s frustrating because I feel like I have to choose between a smooth mouse experience or clean visuals. Is there a way to balance both without sacrificing too much?

Yeah, it's a tough choice for sure. Have you tried enabling V-Sync instead? It might reduce tearing while keeping your mouse smoother. You could also look into using a tool like NVIDIA's Control Panel to manage these settings better.
