I've been experiencing really slow download speeds on my PC, even though my PS5 and phone, which are right next to it, download just fine. For example, my PS5 takes around 10-15 minutes to download a 50GB game, but my PC takes about a day for just a single photo. I've been trying to figure this out for the past 6 months since I got the PC. I have a good wifi setup and even bought a mesh adapter that sits just under my PC. I also tried using an Ethernet cable, but nothing seems to help. I recently checked my download speeds on Speedtest.net and got 7.94 Mbps for the PC, while my phone showed 118.38 Mbps. My disk usage during downloads is low, and I'm really at a loss for how to fix this. Any ideas?

That sounds super frustrating! Since your other devices are downloading fine, it looks like the issue may be with your PC rather than your internet connection itself. Check which drive Steam is using for downloads. If your disk usage peaks at 100% or if tests show your NVMe drive isn’t performing well, that might be where the hold-up is. Also, keep an eye on Task Manager during downloads, and make sure programs like Defender or OneDrive aren’t using up your drive resources.
Try running a Speedtest on your PC. If your speeds are poor, it might indicate a network issue, but since the PS5 and phone are fine, I suspect it's a storage issue. If your disk usage is sitting at 0 during downloads, that’s a problem. You might want to check if your drives are in good health and not overwhelmed by background processes.
Thanks! I’ll check that out and see what’s running in the background.

Got it! So, how do I figure out which drive Steam is using?
