Why is my PC experiencing random blackscreens and loud fans?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC and swapped out the motherboard, GPU, RAM, and power supply. Here are my current specs: a Gigabyte B850 Arous Elite WIFI 7 motherboard, a 5070 TI graphics card, a Ryzen 7800x3d processor, 32GB of Kingston DDR5 RAM, and a BeQuiet 850W PSU, running on Windows 11 Pro 25H2. Everything was stable for a couple of weeks after the upgrades, but recently I've started experiencing random blackscreens. There are two scenarios happening:
1. My monitor goes dark, and the PC restarts after a few seconds. I've checked the dump file, and it looks like there are issues with the GPU driver.
2. The monitor goes dark, and the fans go crazy loud (probably at 100%), forcing me to restart the PC manually. This happens with no dump file, and the event log only indicates an unexpected shutdown.

These issues occur both while browsing with Firefox and while gaming, every hour or two, though sometimes I can go a few hours without encountering the problem. I've tried reinstalling Windows, using older GPU drivers, resetting the BIOS, and even trying a beta version of the BIOS. It's odd because it worked fine for two weeks without any hiccups. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate your help!

Definitely check the GPU temperature as overheating can cause those blackouts. Disabling the XMP and running some tests is a good idea. It's strange that it worked fine for two weeks; it could be a compatibility issue that just came up. A new PSU should be fine, but reconnecting everything might help. Good luck!

It sounds like your GPU might be overheating. I'd suggest checking its temperature to be sure. Also, try disabling the XMP settings for your RAM in the BIOS or bumping the voltage up a bit. I have an Aorus Elite, and when I enabled XMP, I faced blackscreens too. Increasing the voltage by 0.2V solved my issues. Additionally, consider that a faulty PSU might be contributing to the problem, although testing that can be tricky without another unit.

Thanks for the tips! I’ve disabled EXPO and will run some OCCT tests. I agree about the PSU; even though it's new, issues can still happen. I'll keep you posted on what I find after the tests!
