I'm feeling a bit uneasy about my online privacy lately. Here's the situation: I was using TikTok on my phone, where I have multiple accounts, but only one is logged into the TikTok browser on my PC, which I hardly use. The username I'm using on my phone is something unique and not associated with my identity at all. After switching on my PC, I tried to paste my ID number, but instead, my TikTok username popped up out of nowhere. I'm concerned that my privacy might be compromised. Has anyone else had this happen? Is this normal?

Do you have something like Chrome installed on both your phone and PC? If so, that might be syncing your usernames and passwords across devices, which could explain why your TikTok username appeared when pasting.
Sorry for the short response—I just woke up! But since you mentioned using an iPhone with your Mac, it might be linked to Apple's Continuity feature. They have tools that make things seamless between devices.
Honestly, switching to Apple products could improve privacy. Just saying!
I think you should stop using Chrome or any apps you're unsure about. They can sometimes have their quirks that can affect your privacy.

I already use an iPhone and a Mac. So that's kind of strange, right?
