Why Is My WiFi So Slow During Late Hours?

I'm experiencing major WiFi throttling from 8 PM to 8 AM. During that time, my internet slows down drastically, making it impossible to load anything. I tested my speeds using Ookla and Fast.com, and while Ookla shows speeds of 350 Mbps, Fast.com only shows 10 Mbps. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on and how to fix it?

It sounds like your ISP might be throttling your connection during peak hours. Some providers limit speeds on certain services or users, especially in shared housing or apartment buildings. It's worth reaching out to them to discuss the issue and see if there's a way to resolve it.

If you're using Fast.com, remember that it's run by Netflix, so your ISP may be capping streaming services. Try running tests on different sites to get a clearer picture of your bandwidth.

Could be a case of either shared internet in your building or parental controls if you live with family. Make sure you’re the only one using the connection when you test speeds.
