Why isn’t my GPU powering on despite everything else working?

I've noticed that my older PC is having some issues, specifically with the graphics card. While all other components seem to be functioning normally—like I can hear the Windows boot-up sound—the GPU isn't powering on. I've already unplugged and checked connections, but nothing seems to help. For context, I'm using an old EVGA GTX 1660 Super. Any advice on what might be going wrong or how to fix this?

Have you tried reseating your GPU? Sometimes simply taking it out and putting it back can help establish a better connection. Also, make sure all power cables are snugly connected.

Are the fans on your GPU spinning at all? If they aren't, it really might be a sign that the graphics card isn't receiving power. Just checking these small details can often lead to the larger issue!

The fans aren't spinning. Just to clarify, it's an old EVGA GTX 1660 Super.

It's important to figure out if it's solely the graphics card at fault. Since everything else is spinning and the boot sound happens, perhaps check that your GPU is securely connected to the PSU and make sure it's plugged into the correct port, not just the motherboard's graphics output.

Everything else seems to be connected normally, but I’ll double-check the GPU connections for sure.
