Why Isn’t My Powerline Adapter Connecting to Ethernet?

I just bought the TL-PA40110P Kit and I'm having trouble getting the Ethernet to work. I downloaded the TpPLC Utility, and both plugs show up when I have the Ethernet cable connected. However, my device displays 'unidentified internet' with no network, and troubleshooting points out that there's no DHCP. I've tried resetting the devices using the app and physically, plus I've unplugged and plugged them back in and restarted my router. I'm at a loss here—what else can I try?

Make sure that your router is connected to the power line network. Sometimes it needs a solid connection to properly communicate with the adapters. If both devices are plugged into the same circuit, that should help too.

It sounds like your devices might not be communicating correctly. Just double-check that both the powerline adapters and your router are plugged directly into wall outlets. Power strips can sometimes interfere with the connection.
