Hey everyone! I recently received my CPU back after a warranty repair, since it had issues recognizing my RAM. Now it can boot, but only if I have one RAM stick in slot 2. When I try to add a second stick in any of the other slots (1, 3, or 4), the PC won't boot. I've tested all combinations like (1, 2), (3, 4), and so on, but it just won't start. The good news is both RAM sticks work since I tested them individually in slot 2. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

I faced a similar issue once. My motherboard was labeled "compatible" with my CPU, but it barely managed to boot up. It seems like they kind of work together but have weird quirks with RAM slots.
Have you tried resetting the BIOS or updating it? Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve strange boot issues like the one you’re experiencing.
I’ve dealt with something similar before. Have you tried putting each stick in every slot? Like, try stick A in slot 1, 2, 3, and 4, and then do the same with stick B. It sounds tedious, but sometimes, just redistributing the sticks gets everything working again!
So after cycling them around, did it end up working for you? I haven’t tried that yet, so thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve been using this setup for almost three years, so I’m pretty sure they’re compatible.
