WiFi and Bluetooth Not Working on Fresh Windows 11 Installation

I'm using an Acer Aspire 7 with a fresh installation of Windows 11 Pro. Currently, my Bluetooth adapter is disabled due to issues, and the network adapter is missing drivers. I've also noticed several devices listed as unknown in the Device Manager, including a 3D video controller, PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller, and SM Bus Controller. I've tried downloading the drivers from Realtek, MediaTek, and Intel, but still no success. My laptop sports an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U and a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Any pointers on how to fix this?

Just a thought—make sure you aren't in airplane mode or have a physical WiFi switch. Those are common culprits!

No WiFi switch found, and airplane mode isn't activated.

Make sure you're installing the correct drivers for your laptop model. I recommend checking the Acer support page for your specific configuration. Sometimes the drivers from other manufacturers like Realtek might not be the right fit. You can find the correct drivers here: [Acer Support](https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/drivers-and-manuals). Let me know if you need help finding the model number!

I tried Realtek and MediaTek, but none have worked yet.

I got my drivers from that link; they seemed to do the trick!

Have you checked if the WiFi is enabled using the function keys? Sometimes, it's as simple as toggling it on. Look for the F keys—typically need to use the 'fn' key together with another key like F2.

Is it fn + f2? Or something different?

Double-check that you’re referencing the correct model support page! If your Acer model is something like the Aspire A715-42G, the WiFi card could be Intel or MediaTek rather than Realtek. Searching by your laptop's serial number is usually the best route to find accurate support.

I installed the drivers I found on the support page, but I'm still having issues.

It might help to use the 'Intel Driver Assistant' to automatically find and install the right chipset drivers. I believe they have an AMD equivalent too. This could resolve your issues quickly, just be aware it typically needs internet access, which might be tricky with your current setup.

Does it need internet? As mentioned, my network isn't working, so I can't connect to WiFi.
