Will a GTX 1660 hold back my Ryzen 5 9600X upgrade?

I'm planning to upgrade my PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Asrock X570 Pro Wi-Fi motherboard, and 32GB of Kingston Fury Impact RAM at 4800 MHz. Currently, I have an Intel 9400F with a Prime H310M-K 2.0 board and 16GB RAM. I'm wondering if this upgrade is worthwhile and if anything might bottleneck my performance, especially considering I sometimes lag in games like Half-Life: Alyx on my previous setup.

The term "bottleneck" can be overhyped. It's often a yes and no situation. The real thing to consider is whether you're experiencing performance issues in the games you want to play at the settings you prefer. If you're mostly gaming at lower settings or resolutions, you might be fine!

Right now, I usually play Counter-Strike and Beat Saber, but lagged in Half-Life: Alyx on my old build.
