I'm curious if Apple will replace the battery in my iPhone 11 Pro Max since I recently had the screen fixed by a third-party service. Last week, when I visited the Apple Store, they wouldn't replace my battery because my screen was cracked, and it would have cost me $385 to have them repair it. So, I opted for a third party, and while they did replace the screen, now Apple says I have an 'Unknown Part.' Plus, the new screen is raised and the colors are off. I'm wondering if they'll still replace the battery given the current state of my screen.

If you're comfortable with repairs, you might consider doing it yourself! I’ve managed my own repairs with parts from iFixit, and they provide everything you need, along with repair videos. Plus, since your screen is already raised, it could be a simple fix for you.
It's unlikely that Apple will replace your battery after a third-party screen repair. They usually won't take that risk due to liability concerns with unofficial parts. If the screen is raised and looks off, it's a good reason for them to refuse service.
Apple's policy has shifted, and they assess devices on a case-by-case basis now. It might be worth making a reservation and visiting the store to get a proper assessment. They could potentially help, but it's not guaranteed.
Nope, they probably won't help you out with the battery replacement now. You might have saved some cash initially, but now your phone has a low-quality screen and Apple won't service it. Your options could be to find another third-party service to replace the battery, look for a used iPhone, or just finance a new one.

They did change their policy about third-party repairs recently, so they might be more flexible. Still, because your screen is not installed properly, they may hesitate as it could indicate a potential puncture to the battery.
