Will I Still Be Able to Use 2FA If I Get a New Phone?

I'm considering enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) but I'm a bit worried about what happens if something happens to my phone in the future. If I get a new phone but keep the same phone number, will I still be able to use 2FA without issues? I'm not a fan of the idea that I might get locked out just because I switched devices.

You’re good! It’s your phone number that matters, not the actual phone. Just make sure that your new phone can receive texts or calls to that number, and you should be all set. Seriously, don’t sweat it too much—just enable 2FA and you’ll be fine.

Awesome! Just confirm they don’t ask for security questions then, right? It’s just about the phone number?

Quick question though! If I set this up on my laptop, will it work the same on my phone too, or is it a separate set up?
