Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for the easiest and best automatic transcription tool for audio files. Ideally, I need something that can handle an mp4 file and provide a transcription of the dialogue, preferably with timestamps. It's also really important that the tool can support languages other than English, specifically Swedish. I don't expect it to be perfect since I plan to review everything afterward, but I need something that will save me from constantly pausing and unpausing to catch all the words. Thanks for your help!

For Windows users, I've been using Tactiq, and it works great! You just upload your MP4 file, and it gives you a transcript with timestamps, plus it supports Swedish! I usually tidy up the text afterward, which saves me a lot of time. 😊
You might want to try turboscribe.ai. It offers three free 30-minute transcriptions each day and supports Swedish. I've had good results using it for Dutch transcriptions too!

If you're using a Mac, check the Notes app! They've integrated a super easy transcription feature that you might find handy.
