I'm having trouble transferring music from my MacBook to a CD using an external drive. I have my music in iTunes, but every time I try to burn it, the computer doesn't seem to detect the CD. My MacBook recognizes the external drive, but it can't read the CD I insert. Any tips or guidance on how I can resolve this issue?

Make sure you're burning the songs in a compatible format. Standard CD players usually can't read random music files, so you need to burn them as an audio CD. Some newer models are more flexible, but it’s best to use the right format to avoid issues.
I tried using YouTube to MP3 and added the songs to a playlist, but it still doesn't work when I attempt to burn it. Any advice on this?
