I'm planning to dual boot Linux Mint alongside Windows 11 and I was wondering if it's possible to completely delete the Windows 11 files later and just keep Linux. I don't want to invest in anything extra right now if I can avoid it. Any advice would be appreciated!

I went through this myself! Dual booting is awesome, but I kept needing Windows for random tasks. In my experience, it’s best to leave the Windows partition as is for a while, just in case you need it down the line. When you feel ready, go ahead and delete it. Just don’t rush into it!

Once you have installed Linux Mint, you can use Gparted to manage partitions. You can easily delete the Windows partition and expand your Linux partition into the space. Alternatively, if you want to keep Windows for now, consider shrinking its partition to make room for Linux without completely removing it. Just a thought!

Absolutely, you can delete Windows 11 after dual booting! Just remember to back everything up first, just in case you need anything later. It's super easy to do, but take your time and think it through before making any changes to your partitions.
