Issues with Windows 11 Language Settings

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating language issue on Windows 11. We're using the French France version, but I've noticed that the Windows Security windows aren't translating correctly anymore. When I install a WIM image I created about eight months ago, everything is in French, but with images created in the last three months or even just yesterday, it defaults to English.

I've checked the settings under language where it shows 'Device configured region.' The WIM that's working properly has the region set to France, while the others are showing Canada (even though I'm in Canada). I'm using the same task sequence for deployment, only changing the WIM and keeping the sysprep files the same. I can't figure out why it switched from French to a Canadian region, which is causing these language issues. French Canada is not an option because many elements aren't translated. Any advice would be appreciated!

That sounds super frustrating! I’ve seen it happen too, especially with hybrid systems. If the OEM ISO was installed in French, it should really stick to that. One workaround could be to make sure that your region settings are explicitly set to France in both the system locale and the display language. Just in case, double-check the language packs installed too because sometimes they can interfere.

I've run into a similar issue with different language settings on Windows installations. It seems like sometimes after updates, certain elements like the Security Center end up reverting to English even when they shouldn't. It could be some leftover settings messing things up. Have you tried resetting the language preferences in the settings? Sometimes reapplying the language pack helps clear this up.
