I'm looking for suggestions on effective note-taking and transcribing tools for Teams meetings. In my experience, the built-in transcription features aren't that great. I considered using ReadAI, but I have some security concerns about it. My primary need is a tool that records meetings and allows me to share notes with participants. Since we mainly use Microsoft products like M365, SharePoint, and Teams, what do you recommend?

Have you checked out Teams Premium or Copilot? They’ve been working really well for me! If you turn on the meeting facilitator feature, it helps with tracking tasks and who’s assigned to them, so it's pretty handy.
I guess it varies with licenses though. I've seen some advanced features that might not be available with standard setups, but it's definitely worth trying out.
Many of the AI meeting tools currently work by joining the meeting as a bot and recording everything. That's where the security issues come in—think about calendar access and transcripts stored externally. Instead, you could keep the transcription as plain text or Markdown notes directly in your internal documentation. This way, you manage it like any other doc rather than letting it sit in a third-party system.
That’s a smart approach! Plus, if you save the transcript, you can use Copilot Chat to summarize it for you afterwards—it’s free too! Not perfect, but better than doing nothing.

Totally agree! The facilitator option makes it super easy to keep track of everything during the meeting.
