I'm putting together my first PC and I think this setup should be powerful enough to last a few years. However, I'm still learning about PC building, so I'd love to hear some feedback before I splurge on all the parts. I'm planning to use it mainly for gaming. Here's what I've got planned:
* GPU: RX 9070 XT
* CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
* Motherboard: ASUS TUF B850-Plus WiFi
* RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30 (G.Skill Flare X5)
* PSU: Corsair RM850x (ATX 3.1)
* Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
* Case: Fractal Meshify 2
* SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
* Extra fans: 5× Arctic P14 PWM

Your CPU, GPU, motherboard, and RAM are solid choices! Just double-check the PSU against a tier list to ensure it's a reliable one. As for the case, go with something that matches your style since it's mostly about aesthetics. Also, while the Samsung 990 Pro is top-notch, you might not notice the extra performance it offers, so think about if it’s worth the investment for your gaming needs.
What’s your primary use case? If it’s just gaming, you might not need to go for the 990 Pro SSD and could save some bucks by choosing a slower option that still meets your needs.
I think the Samsung 990+ actually performs better for gaming, and you might save some money too. Have you considered going for the 9800X3D CPU instead? It could be a good option.
This build is looking good, but there are ways to save a good amount of cash. Just curious, what country are you in? If you're in the US, do you live near a Micro Center? They often have great deals!
