This chime has been randomly playing for both me and my girlfriend, and it has been happening for quite a while. I recorded it using OBS, but the sound does not appear in the Discord, Chrome, game, or microphone audio tracks, so it seems to be coming from somewhere else on the system. Does anyone recognize the sound or know what might be triggering it?

It sounds like a standard iOS notification chime, possibly the one used for Gmail notifications or other app alerts.
I have heard it from other apps too, including my garage app. It may just be one of the common prerecorded notification sounds included with Apple devices.
The tone also resembles an older phone alert, possibly a low-battery sound from an older Android or flip phone. Checking nearby phones, tablets, watches, and other devices could help narrow it down.
It is probably a system alert rather than something being captured by your individual app audio tracks. Check the operating system's notification and alert-sound settings to see which apps are allowed to play sounds, then compare their assigned tones.

That seems likely. I hear the same sound on my Mac when the Mail app reminds me to sign back in to Gmail.
