Advice Needed for First PC Build

I've been a dedicated console gamer for over 20 years, and I'm finally taking the plunge into PC building! I want to invest in a solid setup that should last quite a while before needing upgrades. My main focus is playing FPS games, but I'd love the ability to run other games at higher settings too. I have limited knowledge about PC building and components, but I've put together a parts list here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ycWj9C. What do you all think? Are there any components that I should swap out to save some cash, or is there something I should consider upgrading? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I'd suggest cutting back on the AIO cooler to a $50 Thermalright one instead. Also, consider a less expensive B850 motherboard that won't impact performance at all. With the savings, you could grab an RTX 5070 Ti for better DLSS upscaling and ray tracing. Plus, a 1000W PSU is overkill; an 850W ATX 3.1 would work just fine.

That's great advice! I've been curious about ray tracing – does it really make a big difference? I get that the 1000W is more than I need; I just wanted to have options for future upgrades.

Your build looks solid! The only tweak I'd suggest is to pick a RAM kit with lower CAS latency for better performance.
