I've been having this weird issue with my JBL Quantum 100 wired headphones on my Nitro 5 laptop. Whenever I watch a video in Opera GX, my call partners can hear the audio from the video as if it's broadcasting. At first, I thought it was just too loud and might be picking up through the mic, but even when I mute my mic, the video audio still comes through. I've fiddled with the input and output settings on both my laptop and Discord, but nothing seems to work unless I turn the video volume way down. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how I can fix it?

Have you tried disabling "Stereo Mix" in your Windows audio settings? Sometimes it can cause issues like this where audio that’s being played gets picked up by the mic.
It sounds like there might be a virtual audio mix device enabled. Check your audio output settings in the system and for individual applications to see if something’s misconfigured.
I'm pretty sure the only audio mixer I have is the built-in Realtek one.
There might be a problem with the grounding in your headset, which could be causing it to transmit audio. Do you have access to another headset to test with?
Sadly, I don't right now, but I'm hoping my boyfriend can bring one when he visits so I can try that.
Does this issue happen in any other apps, or is it just with Opera GX?
It was only happening in Opera GX, but I fixed it by disabling hardware acceleration!

Just tried this, but unfortunately it didn't work.
