I'm in the process of building a global SaaS website using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). I've already got two websites running on my localhost and I'm looking for affordable hosting options to publish them. What hosting services would you recommend?

You might want to explore Render for hosting. It’s user-friendly, but I’m curious if anyone agrees with that assessment!

Just keep in mind that Render isn’t necessarily the cheapest. I found AWS looks appealing since they offer free tier options.

For starting out, you really want something inexpensive. You can always scale up later as your user base grows. Think about some budget-friendly options that won’t break the bank at first!

I get that, but what specific service should I consider? I'm using MongoDB with the MERN stack.

A solid choice to get started would be a small Linux VM from Digital Ocean or Hetzner. If you were using MariaDB or MySQL, there would be more shared hosting options, but those are reliable for MongoDB!

I noticed AWS EC2 has some free tier options. Could be worth checking out for hosting!
