I'm on the hunt for gaming headsets that come with built-in hardware 7.1 surround sound. I'm not a fan of software 7.1 because it tends to create popping and crackling noises, especially when listening to music or using certain apps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 😀

Getting a true hardware 7.1 setup in a headset is pretty tough since it typically requires at least seven speakers plus a subwoofer. Fitting all that into a headset might not be practical at all.
You might want to look into what’s causing that crackling noise. It's often due to DPC latency issues. There are some steps you can take to reduce it, but it might mean pushing your components to their limits.
I've heard similar issues with the Cloud 3 wireless. I tried them and faced the same problem.

Oh wow, I had no idea! Thanks for breaking it down for me! 😀
