Hey everyone, I have a bit of a question that might sound silly, but here it goes. If I'm in the US and I want to dial a phone number from Australia, does that mean I still have to use the exit code, the Australian country code, and everything else as if I were calling internationally? Thanks in advance for your help!

Absolutely, you still have to dial it like it's an international call. Just because both of you are in the US doesn’t change the fact that the number itself is still Australian. So, you'll need to include the exit code and country code as usual.
Yes, you definitely want to dial the full international number. And just to add, unless there's a special agreement between the phone carriers, one or both of you might end up paying for that international call.
You're on the right track! Even though you both are physically in the US, since the number belongs to Australia, all the codes need to be dialed. Don't worry, it's a common question!
