I've been working as a developer for four years and I'm about to graduate with my bachelor's degree. I have a job offer on the table, but it's not great. I've been sending out my resume hoping for something better. Some senior professionals have looked over my cover letter and resume and say they're solid. However, I've noticed entry-level positions often have extensive requirements, including 3+ years of experience, which I meet. Still, I'm not hearing back from many applications. Is my lack of a degree (just two months away from graduation) a factor? Is the job market really that bad, or are there issues with my application? I also have experience leading projects successfully, yet my current job wants to pay me less than half the average market rate once I graduate.

The job market is pretty tough right now, even for those with experience. Just keep applying, it can feel frustrating but persistence pays off in the long run.
Honestly, don’t dismiss that job offer too quickly. It’s better to take it and keep searching for something better rather than holding out for something uncertain.
That's my plan! It's just exhausting since the workload is heavy for the pay they’re offering.
Definitely take the job offer to gain experience and prove your worth; you can always negotiate for a higher salary once you’ve demonstrated your value.
Networking is key! Instead of just throwing your resume into the void, reach out to people you know and see if they have any leads. Blind applications often get lost in a sea of candidates.
Everything feels chaotic in the job market right now. I'm in marketing, and it's equally frustrating over here. I’m using an app called Remote Rocketship that seems to have a few better job leads, but it’s hit or miss. I’ve received rejection letters from tons of places already.

Yeah, I figured as much. It just feels off since I’ve done a lot right and still don’t see results!
