I'm new to computers and will be getting my own soon. I want to install Zorin OS but couldn't find any clear tutorials that don't involve already having Windows. Is it possible to install it without Windows, and if so, how do I do it?

I'd suggest trying out different distros as you learn. If Zorin isn't working for you, consider something like Linux Mint. Many users find it user-friendly, and the community is supportive—perfect for beginners!
You definitely can! To get started, you'll need to create a bootable USB drive with Zorin OS. You can do this on any computer, even if it’s not running Windows. Just make sure to find a tutorial specific to the creation process. It’s actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it!
Yeah, using tools like Balena Etcher makes it easy, and you can do it on various operating systems. Just find an ISO of Zorin OS, and you're good to go!
Honestly, it's a bit tricky since most guides assume you have Windows, but you don’t need it for long. You just need to create a USB installer from another working system. Borrow a laptop if you can, or you could even use your smartphone with the right app!
That’s good to know! Using my phone could make things easier.
I'll check out Mint too, thanks for the tip!
