I'm using Linux Mint with NVIDIA drivers and I'm curious about setting up virtual monitors similar to how it's done in Windows. I tried looking for guides, but all I found were instructions for wireless monitors, which isn't what I'm looking for.

You want to check out the options for virtual desktops or workspaces. They’re similar to virtual monitors and are included in Linux Mint. In Cinnamon, you can use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Up to view your workspaces. You can also create new ones or delete them if you don’t need them anymore. It's pretty handy!
Got it! I think they just want a virtual display that behaves like an extra monitor, even if there isn’t one physically connected.
