Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind and could really use your insight. I have some important evidence to share with a top-notch biologist, but there's a catch: he can't access public photos, and I need to ensure that the images I send are absolutely private, just between the two of us. What are some effective ways to share these photos securely? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it absolutely has to be proven private, you should definitely avoid any online sharing. You could consider using a service like Mega where you control the encryption keys, and create unique links for sharing files.

Honestly, the best way to ensure privacy is to use a flash drive. Or, set up a local FTP server and give him a login. This way, he can access only what you want him to see.

You know, what you're asking for is really tricky. There's nothing that can completely prevent sharing once the images are sent. It sounds like this might be more about trust than technology. Just keep that in mind!

Have you thought about sending the photos on an SD card? Alternatively, you could encrypt them in a ZIP file with strong password protection, like using 7-zip with AES-256 encryption. Just send the password through another secure channel, like a letter or a different message.

You could use Google Drive for this. Just share the access with the specific email of the biologist, and make sure to adjust the settings to allow only those added to view the photos.
