How Can I Simplify My Alexa Setup at Home?

Hey everyone! I'm based in the UK and need some straightforward advice. I've got one Alexa device that I keep moving between my lounge and bedroom. I mainly use it for music or rain sounds at night. Currently, I don't have Spotify anymore, I'm using my ex's Netflix account (please don't judge!), and my mum has an Amazon Prime subscription.

I'm with Monzo and Barclays for banking and Vodafone for my mobile and home internet. Living alone, I really want to make my setup easier so I'm not constantly dragging my Alexa around. Ideally, I want a simple plug-and-play system where I can chill in the lounge with music or TV and then move to the bedroom without hassle.

Also, I've got a TV in the lounge—could I use that for music or Amazon services instead of my Alexa? I'm trying to keep costs down and avoid signing up for more subscriptions!

Have you thought about using your phone instead? It seems like you're trying to solve a problem, but I'm not entirely clear on what it is. If your TV is a smart one, you can use a browser or apps for streaming!

Erm, that feels a bit rude.

Why not just grab a second Alexa? It could save you from all the hassle of moving it around. I've got one in my living room and another in my bedroom, plus they connect to my soundbars for better music volume. You can also set them up so they play music from one or both at the same time!

I can't afford to buy a second Alexa at the moment.
