Is a Ryzen 3500X suitable for a 5070Ti?

I'm considering getting a 5070Ti because there are great discounts available in my area, but I can't upgrade my CPU for a few more months. I'm wondering how much of a performance bottleneck the Ryzen 3500X would create with this GPU in the meantime. Would this setup work well enough for a few months, or should I wait to buy both?

Honestly, finding that sweet deal on a 5070Ti now is a smart move. If you wait too long, prices may go up again, and you might miss out. It's definitely worth it if you're not in a tight spot financially!

Are you planning to game mostly at 1080p or 1440p? If you're sticking with 1080p, you should be fine for a few months. Just hold off on higher resolutions until you upgrade the CPU.

I'm also on 1080p until I can grab a new CPU.

Using a Ryzen 3500X with a 5070Ti will definitely work, but you might experience some noticeable bottlenecks, especially if you're gaming at 1080p. It's not going to ruin the experience, though, so if you're keen on the deal, go for it! Just keep in mind future upgrades might help you get the most out of your GPU.

I think I'm going to grab the GPU now and stick with 1080p until I can upgrade the CPU to something like a 9800X3D.
