Why isn’t my payment method showing up on AWS?

I set up my AWS account and entered my debit card information, but now when I check the 'Payment Methods' section, it's completely empty. Does this mean my card wasn't successfully added? Despite that, I'm still able to use EC2 without any issues. Also, I've noticed that the 'Default payment preferences' shows the payment method I used during sign up. I'm a bit confused about how I'll be billed once my free credits run out. Can anyone help clarify?
