Is CL36 6000MHz RAM a Good Choice for My New PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC and would love your input. Here's what I have so far for my setup:

- GPU: 9070XT Swift
- CPU: 9600X
- RAM: 32GB DDR5 (still deciding on this part)
- Motherboard: AsRock B650M-H/M2

I'm considering Kingston Fury's 6000MHz CL36 RAM, but I'm a bit out of touch with the newer DDR5 options. I plan to game at 1440p, so I want to make sure I'm making a good choice here!

Going with CL36 6000MT/s is actually a solid option for your CPU. If you're not into manually overclocking, going for higher MT/s won't boost your performance much. You might want to check out CL30 RAM; it performs slightly better but isn't a day-and-night difference for gaming, unless you're diving into benchmarks or really specific use cases. Just make sure to pick a RAM kit that supports AMD EXPO as it’ll likely ensure better compatibility with your build. Plus, if you're considering motherboards, like the GIGABYTE B650 Eagle AX, it's definitely a step up if you have the budget for it!

Yeah, CL36 6000MHz RAM should work just fine with your setup! It’s a good match for the 9600X. However, if you can find CL30 for a minimal price increase, that could give you a tiny edge in performance. But honestly, for general gaming, you likely won't notice much of a difference unless you're in some very niche performance scenarios.

I get where you're coming from, but here in Brazil, a CL30 kit is about $30-40 more expensive. It makes sense to stick with CL36 if you're on a budget. Everything here is pretty pricey, so it’s understandable to go for what's affordable, especially with the current market!
