I'm considering switching my LAMP project from shared hosting to CloudWays because I want to avoid issues with downtime and manage my infrastructure better. Has anyone had experience with CloudWays? What do you think?

I've been using CloudWays for a while, and honestly, it's getting a bit worse over the years. While I've stuck with them, I've faced some pretty significant issues, particularly with customer support, which have declined. Their tech support is decent, but the overall experience could be better. One big concern is the Rackspace email add-on—avoid it! They've had major deliverability problems, with some big email providers blacklisting their IPs for months, which is unacceptable.
I use CloudWays for basic websites and it works fine for me, but if you're thinking of a full web app, you might find some limitations with the frameworks they support. Personally, I prefer Vercel for my web apps, but it isn't LAMP-oriented.
I'm just uploading HTML, CSS, and JS, so I think it will fit my needs!
I tried CloudWays for a few months and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. Their marketing hits you hard even after you sign up, constantly bombarding you with emails. The pricing scaling is pretty bad too—using their services can cost significantly more than doing it directly with Digital Ocean. Plus, I had issues with WordPress that required me to interact with their support team, which defeats the purpose of getting managed services. To make matters worse, they don't let you manage your credit card—if you want to change it, you have to delete your account first! The whole experience felt shady and manipulative.
What do you recommend as a better managed hosting option?
Are your main issues just with emails and support, or is it something beyond that?
