I just bought a Shure SM7B microphone for $80 from Fruugo, but now I'm second-guessing whether it's the real deal since it was so cheap and shipped from China. Can anyone help me figure out if this product is authentic or if I might have gotten scammed?

I've seen a lot of fake Shure mics floating around, often sold at suspiciously low prices. I'd definitely check if Fruugo offers any kind of buyer protection against counterfeits, just in case.
If you're in doubt, I’d suggest canceling your order. There’s no way you’ll get an authentic SM7B for that price. It's possible they just used an SM7B shell and put a cheap mic inside. Do you even have the right setup to use it properly if it is the real deal?
Honestly, for a mic that usually retails around £379, getting it for just £50 raises a huge red flag. What do you think?
Yeah, I guess you're right. Just keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't get ripped off!.
There's no way a genuine Shure SM7B would sell for $80. You should be really cautious with that price. It screams counterfeit!
A quick search reveals that the photos of the mic you linked lack the official Shure branding that's supposed to be there. Just be careful on this one!
I hear you! If it turns out to be fake, I'll definitely post an update.
