Is My First PC Build Good and Compatible?

I'm about to dive into my first PC build and decided to go with a prebuilt system since I have no experience and don't know anyone to help. I'm a bit nervous about doing it myself. Here are the parts I've selected:

- AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X3D
- GIGABYTE B850 AORUS ELITE WiFi7 ICE Motherboard
- ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme White Cooler
- Corsair DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6400 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit RAM
- XFX Radeon RX 9070 XT Swift Graphics Card
- WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB
- Lian Li O11 Vision Compact Case
- ASUS ROG-STRIX-1000P-GAMING-WHITE Power Supply

First off, can anyone confirm if these parts are all compatible? I'd also love to hear your thoughts on this build overall and any suggestions for improvements. Is this a good choice for my first PC? Thanks a lot! 🙂

To check compatibility, I suggest using www.pcpartpicker.com. It's super handy! Also, 64 GB RAM might be more than you really need unless you're doing heavy multitasking or specific tasks. You could probably go for 32 GB and do just fine!

If you're set on switching the CPU for something more budget-friendly, I'd recommend looking into the Ryzen 7 series; they're great for gaming and should allow you to splurge a bit more on the graphics card or other peripherals. What do you think?

That's a good idea! I was thinking the same way. Thanks for the tip!

You might want to consider what you'll mainly use this PC for. If it's for casual tasks, that Ryzen 9 is a bit overkill and could save you some cash to spend on other parts! But if you're serious about gaming or specific workloads, it's a beast!
