I recently upgraded my desktop by moving an SSD from my laptop to the second slot on my ASUS B550-A WiFi II motherboard. However, the SSD seems to be stuck downwards and is below the screw holder (not sure of the exact name). It isn't screwed in, but I can't pull it out without it hitting the standoff. Should I be worried about this situation? Is it safe to leave it as is? Here's an image for reference: [link](https://imgur.com/a/TGzc6LU).

Lol, I get it, it’s a bit of a mess right now! But seriously, you should try to get it out properly. It’s never a good idea to leave hardware improperly installed. Just take your time with it, and you’ll sort it out!
Leaving the SSD as it is might not be the best option. If it’s bent downwards and not properly seated, it could damage the SSD or motherboard over time. If you're comfortable with it, you might want to see if you can remove the standoff without causing any harm. Just be careful!
It looks like the SSD is installed incorrectly if it's stuck under the standoff. You should definitely address this to avoid any damage. If the SSD is not secured in place, it may not function properly. Try gently pulling it out in the opposite direction of the standoff to see if it helps.
