Looking for a Flat-file CMS that Doesn’t Require Separate Folders for Each Post

I'm an avid hobby writer currently using blot.im for my blogging needs. It's easy to use since I can upload my markdown files directly through Dropbox, but I'm starting to hit some limitations, particularly with tagging and pagination. I'm considering self-hosting and ideally want a system that allows me to maintain a URL structure like `example.com/writing/setting-name/filename`, using metadata from YAML within my markdown files. I've explored options like Grav and Typemill, but most require separate folders for each post, which would make migrating my existing content a real hassle. Pico CMS was close to what I wanted, but I'm facing challenges with its tagging extension. Also, I want to avoid any solutions that require GitHub integration as I'm not comfortable with my work being out there like that. I'm open to paying for a solution that meets my needs.

You might want to check out Statamic. It generally only requires a posts folder and allows your post file names to act as slugs without having to create a unique folder for each post.

I’ll take another look at it! It might have slipped through the cracks during my previous tests. Appreciate the suggestion!
